Someone I love very much just turned 60.
We hopped in the van and drove 20 hours to surprise Dad on his birthday.
The next 2 1/2 weeks flew by. Time with dear Gran & Pa, hilarious Aunts and Uncles, darling cousins (contended sigh)......it was a great trip.
Dad, 60 looks great on you. Your heart grows bigger every year. I think you are really something special.

Will you please check out our weather right now??!?!?!? 73 degrees at 9pm. That'll do Rochester. That'll do.
Whoah, that was a lot of ?!?!?!?
I feel a bit sheepish.
Happy Birthday to Uncle Ralph! I remember so well coming to your home in Logan for a surprise 40th birthday party for him . . . where does the time go? Next thing we know, it will be ME turning 40!
Molls. I love it. You said it all so well. I can't believe your April visit is over already, but you will be back soon. Thanks for posting all the pictures that I forgot to take! Love ya.
Congrats on 73! You look so pretty in the photo with the peachy flesh colored sweater! And you with all of your kin...it is so neat to see a photo with all of you together! Your babies are beautiful as always. I am sure they had so much fun celebrating Pa's bday with all of their family, too. Talk to you tomorrow?!?!?!?!?!
You drove 20 hours with three kids by yourself!?!?!?!?!? (that deserves a lot of !?!?!?s!). You are crazy cool!
I should mention that my dear sister, Laura, flew to Minnesota and made the long drive out to UT with me & my kids. She pretty much was our chauffeur. I sat in back, passed out the Twizzlers and read Charlotte's Web aloud.
I'm brave (and getting braver as the years go by), but not brave enough to take on a road trip of this magnitude alone!!! :)
Great picture of your sweet family Molls! It was great to meet a few of them while you were here. Enjoy the weather you are having, it certainly isn't that warm here!
You all look amazing! I bet that was a VERY fun surprise!
HAPPY BIRTHDAY RALPH!!!! What a great guy.
Tanti aguri a te
So glad you guys had fun. Can't wait till you're here in good old UT all the time.
And I love the picture of the bathing beauties.
